8 Weeks Before Moving

• Research neighborhoods using our Neighborhood Finder
• Line up movers or truck rental (browse local services)
• Notify utilities at your current address
• Start updating your address with banks and subscriptions

2 Weeks Before

• Set up Duke Energy and Greenville Water service
• Register vehicles and plan your SC DMV visit (see Civic Essentials)
• Explore schools if you have kids (Schools guide)

Moving Week

• Confirm closing or lease start date
• Pack an essentials box: toiletries, chargers, coffee maker
• Update your mailing address with USPS

First 30 Days

• Get your SC driver’s license and register to vote
• Find your go-to coffee shop and grocery store
• Walk the Swamp Rabbit Trail
• Introduce yourself to a neighbor
• Bookmark local favorites in My Explore
